Coree Spencer has been doing comedy since 2000 in the form of filmed sketch comedy winning numerous awards for writing and film making. Her sketches have also been featured on the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Comedy website, Comedy, Funny Or Die, MySpace and YouTube.

Coree started and produced one of Portland’s longest running sketch comedy groups, Homeless Corner from 2003-2009 and from there, formed other award winning groups such as Awful Waffle, Ladies Night! and Kobra Kommander, which won Best Film, Best Editor, Best Musical Score and Audience Favorite for the Portland 2009 48 Hour Film Project.

In 2008-2009, With Coffee For Drew Productions and Sol Actual Media, Coree helped organize and produce Pirate Satellite Television, a travel show on the internet that covered Portland Oregon’s underground scene, the kind of stuff travel shows won’t do. She was also the host of the first season of the show, before leaving the program to focus on her comedy career.

In 2009, Coree was a co host on KPSU, Portland College Radio, of the show “The Dating Classroom”, where she offered advice to callers, but mostly bantering back and forth with the other co-hosts about dildos. The same year, she created, wrote and starred in the webseries In It To Win It!  A 9 episode show with a cast and crew of over 40 people.

From 2009-2011, Coree was a contributing interviewer for’s “Comedian on Comedian,” which is a series of nonsensical video interviews with both big names and up and comers in comedy like: Sarah Silverman, David Cross, The Cast of Reno: 911!, Michael Ian Black, Wyatt Cenac, Hard n’ Phirm, Bil Dwyer, Eugene Mirman, Paul Provenza, Nick Thune, Maria Bamford, Brent Weinbach, Steve Agee, Hannibal Buress, Moshe Kasher, Josh Fadem and

From 2010-2011, she was the host of “You’re Welcome. With Coree Spencer”, a podcast on where she interviewed comedians of all levels, even giving them tarot reads about their careers.

Also in 2010, Coree hosted 48×10, a web reality show about the 48 Hour Film Project that was filmed at Filmapalooza in Las Vegas in April. It followed the filmmakers of the festival but also Coree and her crew behind the scenes. The concept was created after the executive producer for the project followed Coree’s winning team in 2009 for the weekend of the contest.

In 2012 she moved to Brooklyn and has been the host of The 5th Mic at 5th Estate in Brooklyn every Wednesday for the past 3 years.

Coree is the cocreator of Bayside Myself, a live Saved By The Bell stage read show that ran from 2014-2015 at Creek and Cave which will be featured during Cinder Block.

Festival credits include: SF Sketchfest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Noise Pop Music Festival and more
